We know you are praying about how you can be a good steward of His resources and give in thanks giving and adoration to our Lord and His work. We want to share with you an opportunity to make a difference and multiply the impact of your giving through a project in the communist state of West Bengal where we are developing a center that is growing in its impact in the region. Nepali church planters are being trained. Lay leaders from Bhutan are being equipped to disciple Bhutanese who are responding to the Lord. Bengalis and Santhalis are being reached and equipped to reach their people. The poor are being cared for and the emerging generation is being educated with Christian values and in a Christian environment. From: Bobby Gupta, President We just finished our North India pastors and women's conference. We had about 640 delegates from 14 states of North India. The large majority was from the the state of Maharashtra where we have a strong movement for Saturation church planting. The theme of our conference has been focusing on "Healing to the nation..." through Revival of the Church, Revitalization of its mission so that the nations will rejoice. Dear Friends, We praise God for the open door that He set before us to continuously proclaim His name in the Tsunami affected villages. It is going to be one year since the Lord opened the door for us to enter into these villages, demonstrate God's love and care to the people affected by the Tsunami and see God rebuild their lives, families and villages. Dear Friends, A young mother, Zenab came running to our scouting team that went to Jammu &Kashmir and poured out her heart. Zenab said her 2 month old baby was sleeping inside the house while she was doing some work outside. Within seconds, even before she could realize it was an earthquake, in front of her eyes, her house collapsed and the baby got buried under the rubble. Who can comfort a mother who saw her child buried under her own home? The team could only hold her and let her cry her heart out, sobbing in their arms. They told her we would do all we could to help them go through this tragedy. Pray for ZENAB. Only God can bring healing to the pain of this mother. We must go back and help her and the village to over come the great sorrow. I want to thank each one of you for praying for our scouting &medical team that went to Jammu &Kashmir. We truly appreciate your prayers that made it possible for our team to travel, do survey, render medical help, identify potential areas of operation and come back safe to Chennai. October 30, 2005 - From President Bobby Gupta Knees needed -- What is the Lord telling us? Dear Friends, Just in the month of October, India has experienced severe earthquake at Jammu &Kashmir, ghastly flood at Chennai, tribal rising in Nagaland and Manipur, major train accident in Andhra Pradesh and just yesterday evening series of bomb blasts at New Delhi, the Capital of India. All we hear and watch in the Television is nothing but loss of life. As I write this email, my heart pains that we have lost thousands of people for eternity. Every day people go to a Christless grave. What is the Lord telling us? "open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest" We strongly realize that we have to intensive our efforts to reach the unreached for Christ, to take the Gospel of Hope to the unreached people groups and fulfill God's mission in India as fast as we can. Can we see a generation or multitude of people pass by without knowing Christ? No! Our desire and our cry is to see the nation worship our Lord Jesus Christ. Read the rest of the story ... EARTHQUAKE and TSUNAMI Response October 22, 2005 - From President Bobby Gupta Knees needed -- Mummy, I am going to Jesus, don't cry Dear Friends, Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I would like to share with you several touching testimonies of how God is using the various ministries of HBI to touch the lives of people. As you read this, I trust you will acknowledge with us that our God is an awesome God! God's miracle: I trust you remember that our team went on a prayer walk to Oyyalikuppam, one of the Tsunami hit villages and we asked you to pray for the people addicted to alcohol in that village. Thank you for praying;, God answered your prayers.! On 10th October, our field co-ordinator brought us a list of 70 names of those who are addicted to alcohol, and we started to pray for each one by name. Last week we had heavy rains in Chennai and our field co-ordinator, Jeyaraj, went to visit the people in all five Tsunami hit villages. When he went to Oyyalikuppam on 14th October, a man named "Raman" called out to Jeyaraj and asked him to come to his house. As soon as Jeyaraj went into the hut, Raman threw something that he had on his hands towards Jeyaraj and asked him, "What did you and your people do with the list of names that you took the other day? Did you all do any pooja or magic?" Jeyaraj did not understand anything and told him, "Anna (brother), we took the list only for prayer, asking the Lord Jesus to give you all deliverance. What happened?" Raman told Jeyaraj, "the time you wrote my name on the list, I am not able to drink. Every time I tried to drink, I either throw up or get an unbearable headache. October 14, 2005 - From President Bobby Gupta Knees needed -- Our team left for J&K Dear Friends, Last night the NDTV interviewed a mother at Ori (the earthquake hit place near Sri Nagar) who said, "I have 7 children but 3 of them are under the debris". She was screaming and crying for help! Asking people to remove the debris, in case her children are alive. It was so hard to listen to her cry. This is just one of the victims. It is estimated that 150,000 people are homeless, over 1500 died and over 1200 are still missing . It was heartbreaking to watch and listen to the people who have lost their loved ones and some of them are still digging the debris with their bare hands, looking for their missing loved one. It is also so difficult to watch children, aged people, women and men shivering the cold and wanting medical help, shelter and food. After they reach Sri Nagar on 17th or 18th October, we really don't know how they will travel to Ori, the worst affected place , as there are many roads have been blocked because of landslide. We are trusting the Lord to help their each step and we know He will. We need your prayers, prayers, prayers. Read the rest of the story ...

Breaking Tradition to Accomplish Vision
Our work continues and actually now it has intensified as the Lord has opened the heart doors of many - men, women, young people and children. One of our efforts for this month is visiting each home in the Tsunami villages with carol singing. We praise God our field workers have trained 15-20 young men in each Tsunami village to sing Christmas songs. They will go on carol singing from 15th December and visit each house with this team of young men. 
Our scouting cum medical team left this evening 4.30 p.m. from Chennai Central Train station traveling to Jammu &Kashmir. Their travel is going to be a looooooooooooong one. Their tickets were not confirmed till 3.00 p.m. but as we gathered to pray before they left, their tickets got confirmed. Praise God!
