Networking the Global Church

To fulfill the great commission in India…

The Networking Department co-ordinates short-term teams from different countries and engages their skills, abilities and giftedness to further the efforts of HBI in proclaiming the Gospel and developing national leaders in order to fulfill the Great Commission in India & beyond.

Our Purpose is to mobilize the global church to serve alongside the national church in a partnership relationship to fulfill the great commission by using the skills, abilities and giftedness of the members from each local church.

Our Vision is to inspire the global church to develop leaders and to widen their world view of missions, while using their spiritual gifts, skills and resources to disciple the peoples in the 10/40 window.

In the context of globalization God has opened the door for the Global church to do missions effectively through short term teams. Mission in the 21st century is from any where to any where. It is also an eye opener for the global church to understand its responsibility to fulfill the great commission by being available to God for Him to use their giftedness, skills and abilities to minister alongside the national church.

When the national team and short term team serve the Lord together by utilizing the God given skills and giftedness strategically, the capacity the partnership has is to minister to between 5,000 to 10,000 people in a period of two weeks.

Over the years we have observed the short term teams have long-term impact on the team member and personally their relationship with God and their commitment to missions prayer increases. The church increases its vision for world missions and understands the power of strategic partnerships with national churches and movements in fulfilling the great commission.
