HBI accomplishes its mission through its single strategy of equipping & developing committed, competent, matured, transformational leaders with a vision to disciple the unreached and plant churches where no churches exist.
The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. ISAIAH 9:2
We believe that the establishment of local churches among unreached people groups is the best long term method of evangelizing and making disciples in these communities. HBI is committed to establishing one thousand local churches by the year 2000, and helping other organizations with similar objectives.
The establishment of local churches creates the need for training and development of local pastors and lay leaders. Through its many training programs, HBI is actively serving the church at large in developing emerging leaders to minister in their communities and evangelize unreached people groups around them.
Often the poverty and remoteness of these communities requires an extension of the church planting ministries. HBI is extending the Hand of Christ by providing medical services and child care.
